Convy collects, processes and analyzes Twitter, Facebook and Youtube data from your companies brand handles using the access you have provided.
The information we collect is used to provide the service you need, and is not shared with or sold to other individuals or organizations for commercial purposes, except when we have your explicit permission, or under the following circumstances:
- It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
Information Gathering and Usage
Pennywise uses collected information for the following purposes:
When we setup you up as a client in Convy, we collect some personal information about the person who would act as the client administrator. Following is the list of information that is collected from you:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Username for accessing Convy
- Email address
You would have to link your Twitter handle(s), Facebook page(s) & Youtube accounts with Convy for us to be able to collect social conversations happening on your brand handles. The first step requires you to authenticate yourself on Twitter/Facebook/Youtube verification pages. You will be prompted by these platforms about the details that Convy as an application would have on your social accounts for your acceptance. You declare that you have all necessary consents, permissions to the Social account. In case you choose not to accept, Convy will not be able to access any information from your social accounts.
At any time you can revoke Convy's access to your Social account from your settings page on Twitter/Facebook. However revoking our access to your account will prevent you from using the Service.
As a registered user of Convy, we may also collect the following information from you:
- information you post in the form of messages, conversations, or contributions to discussions exchanged over the supported social platforms
- images or other files that you may publish via Convy services
Convy uses the collected information for the following purposes:
- to identify you when you log in to your account
- to enable us to provide the services to you
- to contact you about your account and provide support
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, which is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.
Cookies are required to use Pennywise's services.
Pennywise uses third party vendors and partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service.
We use industry best practices to keep any information collected and/or transmitted to the Supported Platforms secure. This includes the use of OAuth 2.0 protocols for authentication.
You should bear in mind that submission of information over the Internet is never entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information you submit via the Services whilst it is in transit over the Internet and any such submission is at your own risk.
If you are a Logged-in User, it is advisable that you log out of your account at the end of every session and not leave a logged-in account unattended for any period of time, particularly if you use a shared computer or device.
Convy uses email as the primary mode of communications with users. We want to respect your privacy by only sending email's which are related to the core service.
Pennywise may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information (as determined solely by Pennywise) by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Convy account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
